She glances up as X passes, but doesn't move to brush her arm or shoulder.




A few minutes later, she pulls the pan off the stove, and turns the knob to stop the gas. Elle uses the spatula to shove the scrambled eggs off onto to the plates, at least trying to be quiet about it, though as they're very slightly burnt, it takes a little bit of scraping.

She passes X again as she moves to put the pan in the sink. This time, maybe out of a habit she's too distracted to stop, her shoulder does brush X's.
