Oh noes now I am confused o.O

Ok. Right!

Well, despite their first ... not exactly nicest encounter, I'm ... not surprised Elle got over it pretty quickly? But she kind of has a short attention span, so.

Um. Organized thoughts are good, yes.

So, Elle can tell that she's like X, probably more than she's willing to admit or consciously acknowledge. She's more ... socialized, or at least somewhat attune to ... general human behavior than X is (which is, er, not saying a whole lot, but still), but also certainly lacks some of the standards that X has at least set for herself. This idea of setting rules on who and who not to kill, rather than ... just doing what you're told or what you think will get the job done, is kind of weird to Elle, and I think part of the reason she tries to inquire to X about this is that ... obviously normal people are going to tell her one thing. She doesn't think they understand. X is someone whose opinion she'd trust more (though not, at least for now, more than her own).

I think she also may, at some level, recognize that she may be at a place where X once was, and wonders what that means to her - but she's not really going to acknowledge the idea that what's been done to her is similar to X and the Facility, at least not until she learns more about her past.

X is also... probably the only person she's met so far who has a clear idea of who she is. Elle's pretty much willing to talk about her violent nature and mental instability when it comes up, but people tend to assume the best in her or underestimate her - which is pretty much part of her technique when dealing with people. Or it doesn't come up. It did immediately with X, and X made no such assumptions, pretty much going to the worst instead. Elle doesn't really care that much either way. But she is being honest when she says she won't hurt X, mainly because a) it's against the rules and b) she respects the fact that X could kill her. Theoretically. Also, she does genuinely like X, which means... if there weren't rules and the killing potential, she'd probably only zap her playfully from time to time. Really!

And... yay tl;dr. Clearly you should tell me your thoughts!
