[OOC] Reference - Random Millicanon things
- Elle's proficiency with her ability means she also has very good aim with a gun, but she doesn't like using them. That whole 'extension of yourself thing' is kind of hard to think of when you're used to a weapon that really is a part of you. Also, she just likes not having to use a gun.
- After the extreme physical duress her body underwent as a child and adolescent, including being repeatedly overworked and prolonged exposure to electric shock, Elle became infertile.
- Death, especially violent death, is a constant presence in Elle's life. People who work for the Company have a tendency to die in violent ways, and it's largely treated with indifference by everyone else. This is part of the reason why Elle doesn't really care about killing people β if she's supposed to be indifferent to the deaths of her colleagues, why should she care about random people she doesn't know?
It also means that, while Elle doesn't want to die, she's not exactly afraid of it. She doesn't have enough forethought to be afraid of death.
- Elle tends to respect rules β though she's never had to concern herself with laws orβ¦ basic social norms, she did have a lot of rules imposed on her growing up concerning her ability, her freedom of movement, etc. So when it comes to the Bar rules, she is likely to follow them until she has an excuse not to.
Except for still occasionally zapping people. But she does that... less, at least. And sometimes even with permission!
- Elle is extremely selfish and self-centered. It is very, very rare for her to do something for someone else β her behavior is geared toward serving her own interests, and that's it.
- It's generally believed that Elle first manifested her ability when she set her grandmother's house on fire when she was six, but this was just the first time anyone noticed. The actual first time was when she was four - her mother had left her in the living room after unplugging their Christmas tree and Elle started playing with the plug, mostly picking it up and dropping it again, tossing it between her hands, and so on. She didn't realize that it was weird that the lights turned on every time she touched the plug, and the neighbors across the street just wondered why they kept turning their Christmas tree lights on and off.
- Elle has six locks on her bathroom door. It's not for privacy.
